Evening Star
The morning star inverted: rally, stall, then a heavy red bar — dusk for the uptrend.

Psychology
A strong green bar draws in momentum buyers; the small middle bar (often gapped UP — maximum optimism) makes no progress; the third bar sells deep into the first bar's gains, trapping the late arrivals.
Recognition
Big green bar; small body gapping/drifting higher; then a red bar closing at least halfway down bar 1's body.
Confirmation
Bar 3 is the confirmation; expanding volume on it strengthens the case. Stop above the star's high.
Reliability
Strong at resistance after extended advances — the classic 'blow-off then reversal' anatomy. Mid-range prints are noise, as ever.
Scanner integration
This exact pattern is the EVENING_STAR named condition here — the chart above marks every real occurrence on the symbol's history (hover a dot to verify), and one click opens it in the Scanner or the Backtest panel to test it on any symbol yourself. That last step is the honest part most books skip.
